16 Way Damping Adjustment

Damping adjustment is done via a click adjuster which is positioned at the top of coilover. This changes the amount of fluid flowing through the shock absorber allowing you to perfectly optimise the suspension system to suit any road or track. Turn the click adjuster clockwise to increase the damping resistance for a stiffer ride and better handling, or anti-clockwise to decrease the damping resistance for a softer, more comfortable ride. By having this control you minimise the car's body roll, which can dramatically improve handling and stability in turns.

Monotube Design

The monotube damper design has several advantages over twintube dampers. The larger oil capacity allows the damper to dissipate heat more effectively, resulting in significantly improved, sustained performance - especially out on track. The Monopro is also more resistant to cavitation, which is the formation of bubbles in the oil due to low pressure, making them less prone to fading due to overheating.

Ride Height Adjustment

 Adjusting the ride height on Monopro has several key benefits, including:

1. Improved aesthetics for a more aggressive or sporty stance.

2. Improved handling by lowering the vehicle's centre of gravity for reducing body roll and better stability.

3. Improved aerodynamics can reduce the amount of air that flows underneath the vehicle, reducing drag.

4. Better weight distribution by distributing weight more evenly across the wheels, which can improve traction and reduce the risk of wheel spin or slip.

Pillowball Top Mounts

Monopro includes camber adjustable aluminium pillowball top mounts as standard should your vehicle allow for it. The high quality Japanese manufactured pillowball and adjustable top mounts make fine tuning your camber much easier. This adjustability means you can greatly improve the contact patch between the tyre and road surface for better handling, higher turn in grip and high speed control.

Custom Spring Rates

With Monopro you get to choose from one of our preset spring options or we can fit an exact spring rate should you require it. This level of flexibility helps unlock the true potential of these coilovers alongside the many other adjustments to give you superb handling.

Corrosion Protection

Monopro damper units are black chromed steel to give proven durability even through the coldest of winters. The aluminium components (top mounts, locking collars etc) are anodised and the steel lower mounts go through an electrophoretic disposition process followed by powder coating.

A random selection of steel components (brackets, dampers, screws etc) are put through our salt spray test once a month to check the quality of the protective processes to ensure anti-corrosive properties are kept at the highest possible standard.
